Feathery dream

I thought about ordering a bunch of white ostrich feathers and have the beautiful model Birgit rock them in a dreamy photoshoot that would make you think of magical lands and fairytales.

We were so eager to do this shoot, we didn't have the patience to actually wait for the feathers to be delivered. So instead, I went to the local arts & crafts store and spent WAY TOO LONG picking out the single most beautiful feather. I think I circled the same aisle about 30 times.

There were many different colors of big ostrich feathers - black, blue, beige, yellow, pink, ..etc. But suddenly, white didn't seem like the best choice anymore. The angelic white fluffy feathers I had imagined in my head were far from what stared back at me in the store, they had probably gotten damaged during transportation.

Anyway.. I picked out the most beautiful feather I could find there and came home with a navy blue one. One of the most gorgeous colors, in my opinion.
